In pre-cirrhotic conditions, Liv.52 arrests the progress of the disease and prevents further liver damage. Hepatic function tests and needle biopsy specimens demonstrate improvement in hepatocellular function and structure. Liv.52 increases the total number of functioning hepatocytes. With Liv.52, the liver enzymes return to normal levels with an increase in the total proteins and albumin-globulin.
