Description:
Most individuals with parasitic infections are not aware of the condition, often going several years without detection. It is reported that almost 50 percent of the people diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome have intestinal parasites. Chronic fatigue syndrome has been linked to parasitic infection.

Symptoms:

Infection is usually evident within three to five days of exposure to the parasite. Symptoms include:

  • Explosive and watery diarrhea
  • Intermittent diarrhea and constipation
  • Indigestion
  • Rashes
  • Hives
  • Gas
  • Fatigue
  • Allergic reactions to food
  • Rheumatoid and arthritic symptoms
  • Mucus in the stool
  • Anorexia
  • Cramping
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Night sweats
  • Fever

Suggestions:

Chronic gastrointestinal complaints, such as bloating, diarrhea, abdominal pain, flatulence, chronic constipation, multiple allergies (especially to food) and patients with unexplained fatigue should be screened for intestinal parasites.

You May Try:
Diarex contains many herbs that are effective in controlling diarrhea. The main ingredients are found to inhibit the growth of bacteria like E.coli and other enteric and dysenteric groups of organisms. Diarex alleviates stomach aches and has a high interferon-like antiviral property. Clinical trials have shown that Diarex is effective against intestinal parasites like roundworm, amoeba and giardia.

Bael has high tannin content, which makes it effective in treating dysentery and diarrhea.
